1966-1990 H.M.College of Arms 1973 Freeman
of the City of London 1990 Applied Art est. (freelance business). Worked for the Kings,
Heralds and Pursuivants of Arms as the Deputy Clerk
of the Records responsible for the production, engrossing and recording in
the College Archives of Genealogical and Armorial Documents. Specializing in
facsimile reproductions of Antique Manuscripts examples: Patents for the
Companies of Drapers, Saddlers and Plumbers all of the City of London. Collaborated with Keith A. Evans MVO Clerk
of the Records on the production of two volumes of the roll of the Imperial
Society of Knights Bachelor and the Memorial book for the victims of Piper
Alpha. Designed the Royal Cyphers for HRH Princess
of Wales and HRH Duchess of York. Mch 1991 Miguel di Villetto an evening of
Surrealism-joint venture with G.Goring and talk by Prof.Robert Short hosted by Clock House Art Association Applied
Art est. During which time I broadened my spectrum of work to encompass the
painting of Pub signs for Messrs.Tollemache & Cobbold, Pubmaster and Greene
King Breweries. I continue to undertake commissions for the College of Arms
producing Genealogical & Armorial Documents and maintain my links with
the City by adding the Armorial entries to the Lord Mayors Autograph Book at
the Guildhall London. Worked on the design and construction of the Museum for
the Suffolk Punch Horse, Shire Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Contributed and appeared in BBC TV
Documentary `History Fix` re: the painting and history of Pub signs. Produced
and designed Armorial Funeral Hatchments for the Lords Marlesford
and Cholmondeley. Put forward by DHB Chesshyre LVO.Clarenceux King
of Arms re: restoration of the Armorial Cartouches damaged and lost during
the fire at Windsor Castle. Painted a series of Murals in the Foyer,
Entrance Hall and Dining Room at the Bell Hotel, Saxmundham.
Created `Shopfront Museum` HG Crisp of Saxmundham.
Produced Genealogies and Heraldic paintings for the Knights of Malta. Painted Signage for Layer Marney Tower,Colchester,Essex together with the Arms of the Charrington Family on vintage Rolls Royce drivers doors. Produced and painted a
series of Container mounted signage for the Port of Felixstowe. Painted the Armorial Bearings of Lord Pirrie on his original 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.2004
Worked on the new Saxmundham Museum constructing a
period street containing a series of shops: HG Crisp Printers and Stationers,
W.Clements Gentlemans
Outfitters, Easey the Saddlers etc incorporating a
copy of the Town lock-up or jail . Joined Creative Freelance a showcase for
Artists and Illustrators based in Suffolk
